Nebula

Reflecting the Light of the Stars it Surrounds

The centerpiece of Hilton Anatole's new identity is found in the heart of the reimagined Atrium II: a dramatic, one-of-a-kind kinetic sculpture called Nebula.  Created exclusively for the Hilton Anatole by renowned artist Reuben Margolin, the artwork is an immense, multi-tired, geometric mechanism measuring more than 100 feet long and 50 feet wide, floating 50 feet above the crowd.  The 10,000-pound artwork is constructed of 10 miles of aircraft cable, 1,780 pulleys and more than 4,500 amber crystals that float and reflect in a wavelike celestial dance.  Inspired by the great refelction nebula in the constellation Orion, Nebula heralds the Anatole's brilliant rebirth and its own ability to reflect the light of the stars it surrounds - where inspiration and creative energies mix with the "light and warmth of hospitality" to bring about world-changing innovation.   Artist's Statement
